Sightseeing


Rødvig Holiday Centre is the centre for many exciting excursions. There are 10 minutes to Højerup Church and Stevns Klint – the 18 km long, sheer cliff which rises to a height of 41 meters. From the top of the cliff you have a wonderful view of the entrance to Øresund. There are 35 minutes to BonBon-Land, 20 minutes to the old cosy market town, Køge, 55 min. to Copenhagen, 75 min. to Møns Klint og 90 min. to Knuthenborg Safaripark.

 

Rødvig is a charming urban community with and yachting - and fishing harbour. There are good shopping possibilities and restaurants. At the fishing harbour you can buy freshly caught fish. Rødvig is also a popular place for windsurfing and diving.


BonBon-Land - The favourite of the children

BonBon-Land is only 25 minutes away from Rødvig Holiday Centre. Rødvig Holiday Centre has in cooperation with BonBon-Land developed "BonBon-packages", which profitably can be ordered through Rødvig Holiday Centre.

 

The Cold War Museum "Stevnfortet" (5 min. from Rødvig Holiday Centre) is now open for guided tours for the public - an amazing attraction for the whole family. With its 1.6 km of galleries and recesses lying in a depth of 18 meters, cut in the lime stone layers of the cliff at Rødvig, it is a fantastic monument of the Cold War as it was seen from this watching post for the Danish Armed Forces in the subterranean fortress below Stevns Klint.

 

Trip to Copenhagen: Profitably you can go directly to København C ( Tivoli, Strøget etc.) by train. Departure every 20 minutes from the station of Køge.

Knuthenborg Safaripark - Go on a safari and come close to the animals.
